MONIKA ALMANTAITE

   Hi! My name is Monika. I am Helsinki based videographer, video editor, visual communicator or in short, a person with a visual mindset. My appearance in audiovisual field could be called an accident. Don’t get me wrong! It turned out to be the best thing that has happened to me so far.

   It all started in 2012 when after school graduation I wasn’t accepted to a Public Communication studies. The same year I stepped my first steps in audiovisual field as a Visual Communication student. My constant desire to learn new things and gain deeper knowledge about videography combined with ambitiousness brought me to Helsinki. Here in 2015 I started an internship in Smile Audiovisual, small production company where I gained ground skills needed in this industry. Later on the same year I started my second internship which turned into a full time position at marketing and communication giant Zeeland Family.

   In those couple of years I had a pleasure to work with such kind of companies as Finpro, Ilmarinen, Teosto, Mehilainen. I feel enthusiastic about this industry. What excites me the most is that it’s so dynamic, fast and there is something new to learn each day.
